I read the joke about poster for missing cat http://jokemail.wordpress.com/2010/06/25/missing-cat-by-david-thorne/ in a forum. At that moment, I thought the designer was taunting the lady.
However today, I saw a poster about a lost puppy but it left no impression a few seconds later. Suddenly I recalled what I read in Malcolm Gladwell’s best seller, The Tipping Point – The Stickiness Factor.
Those posters although were rejected by the customer, they actually have high stickiness factor that increases the chance of finding the lost cat.
